Recognising the increasing power of hand-held devices, Zaptext have launched the pocket PC development task force.

Following trials of several internal service monitoring applications, the task force is going live in Jun 2004 with their first clients "bespoke" hand-held system

The system takes information from a central scheduling database of field-staff and clients, and provides the manager with a complete , real-time, picture of scheduled events, on their Pocket PC.

Data updates are performed automatically, and give the manager timely information, even if they are out of the central office for several days.
